I am happy to provide this letter of reference for Lawrence D. Tobias. I recently had the opportunity to work with Larry on a six-month project in which we attempted to identify five common pain conditions and prepare lectures about each of them. The most challenging part of the project was to produce algorithms for each of the pain conditions. This required not only good writing skills, but also good negotiation skills. I found that Larry has both of these. In addition, he has the sense for accuracy that is needed in medical writing.
An unusual aspect of working with Larry was that he has an extensive background in science and medications. This made it easy to converse with him and almost never did he slow the group down because of his knowledge base. He successfully completed his project and deserves a lot of credit for its excellent product.
If I were looking for a consultant in the area of medical writing, I would certainly use Larry Tobias again. He has excellent editing skills and superb people skills. If I can provide any other information I would be glad to.
